Types Of Ovarian Cysts – The Most Common Types Of Ovarian Cysts

Looking at it from a very top level view, there are broadly two types of cysts

1. Cancerous Ovarian Cysts

2. Non-cancerous Ovarian Cysts.

The whole of this site will be looking at the second category – the non-cancerous ovarian cysts, which can further be divided into

1. Functional Cysts: This can further be analysed into Follicular Cysts and Corpus Luteum Cysts

2. Dermoid Cyst

3. Endometriomas.

4. Hemorrhagic Cysts

5. Polycystic Ovarian Cysts
